When reviewing the parking situation at DoubleTree by Hilton Florence Metropole, guests noted a mix of experiences. The hotel offers both underground and private parking, which many found spacious and ample. The convenience of indoor and covered parking was frequently mentioned with the elevator providing direct access from the underground garage to the lobby. Complimentary street parking and free parking spaces were also appreciated by some as a budget-friendly option.
However, several guests found the parking system to be somewhat inconvenient, highlighting issues such as difficulty exiting the parking area and challenges finding vacant spots. Additionally, the parking cost of 10 euros per day was a point of contention with many noting it as an extra charge not included in the room rate. Some felt the parking fee was excessive or not appropriately communicated upfront, leading to unexpected additional costs upon checkout. Despite these concerns, the availability of extensive parking facilities and the relatively straightforward parking process left many guests satisfied. Overall, while the parking fees and some logistical inconveniences drew criticism, the ample and varied parking options were generally viewed positively.
