Hotel Spa Ice Resort has received mixed feedback about its standing as a four-star establishment. On a positive note, the hotel impresses with its appearance with some guests even believing it resembles a five-star property in Romania. Certain aspects like the spacious rooms, some featuring terraces and the overall high level of service contributed to its positive reputation. The hotel is often marked and promoted as a four-star establishment with corresponding prices.
However, there are significant concerns regarding consistency and standards. The breakfast offerings were frequently mentioned as inadequate for a four-star hotel, described as slim and very poor. Some rooms, despite being labeled as four-star, lacked essential amenities like coffee service and warm water, while cleanliness and room equipment quality didn't always meet expectations. There were mentions of rooms not having the appropriate heating during initial hours of stay, further diminishing the perceived value.
Overall, while the hotel has features and services that align with a four-star rating, there are noticeable gaps that suggest it might not consistently meet the full spectrum of four-star standards.
