Rooms
Hotel DIAMOND presents a unique experience for travelers who appreciate staying in a central location with modern amenities and exceptional cleanliness. While rooms may be smaller than some guests are accustomed to, they are often seen as cozy, comfortable, and well-kept with smart design that includes all essential features for an enjoyable stay. The housekeeping staff consistently provides excellent service, ensuring rooms remain tidy and clean throughout guests’ visits.
Situated in a lively area, the hotel offers surprisingly quiet rooms, allowing for restful nights despite the bustling surroundings. The location is ideal for those wanting easy access to local attractions, shops, and restaurants. Guests frequently mention the excellent shower facilities, noting the impressive size and water pressure, contributing to a rejuvenating experience after exploring the city.
Although some find the beds a bit firm, the presence of amenities like karaoke and quality skincare products adds an element of fun and comfort. Larger room options, such as family rooms, include additional features like bathtubs and separate toilets, catering to varying guest needs. The hotel's courteous and friendly staff enhance the overall experience, ready to assist visitors from around the world with a welcoming attitude.
Beds
Hotel Diamond in Shibuya offers a mixed experience when it comes to the comfort of its beds. While some guests found the beds to be quite comfy, others noted that they were on the firmer side, with firmness varying from person to person. Despite the differing opinions about the bed's comfort level, the hotel staff were attentive and accommodating, readily providing extra pillows upon request to enhance the sleeping experience. The hard Japanese-style beds did not suit everyone's preferences, especially after a long period of skiing, with a few guests wishing for a softer mattress. However, those who appreciate a firm sleeping surface might find the accommodations satisfying. Though the rooms and hallways are predictably snug for the bustling Shibuya area, the stay at Hotel Diamond remains a comfortable one overall for those who favor firmness in their beds.
Cleanliness
Hotel DIAMOND presents itself as a beacon of cleanliness and comfort, garnering praise for its exceptionally clean rooms and overall immaculate environment. Guests frequently highlight the hotel's simple yet comprehensive amenities, including microwaves and bubble baths in the rooms, which add to the feeling of coziness. The presence of friendly and helpful staff contributes positively to the guest experience, with some even noting thoughtful gestures such as providing free umbrellas. Beyond its cleanliness, the hotel boasts a convenient location ideal for exploring Shibuya’s vibrant nightlife. Despite the generally small size of the rooms, daily cleaning ensures they remain tidy and manageable. Various perks, such as a broader selection of toiletries at the reception and free offerings like drinks and ice cream, enhance the stay. The hotel’s efficient check-in process and accessibility further contribute to the seamless experience, making it a notable option for travelers desiring a clean and comfortable retreat in the heart of Shibuya. A minor concern was raised regarding noise from outside and an isolated incident of uncleanliness, but these seem exceptions in an otherwise consistently positive experience.
Staff
Hotel DIAMOND is celebrated for its exceptionally friendly and accommodating staff, who have made a lasting impression on guests. Travelers consistently commend the team for their courteous and supportive nature, always willing to assist with queries and ensure a smooth stay. The front desk and reception staff are recognized for their patience and kindness, often going above and beyond by helping with travel arrangements, recommending local delights, and providing essentials like umbrellas during unexpected showers. While there have been minor language barriers, the staff compensates with their eagerness to help, using translations when necessary. The housekeeping team is particularly noted for their friendliness and dedication to maintaining cleanliness, adding to the overall positive experience of guests. Even late at night, staff members demonstrate genuine concern and care, ensuring guests feel truly welcomed and well taken care of during their stay.

The hotel's staff stands out for their kindness and attentiveness, enhancing the overall guest experience with their warmth and professionalism.
For travelers who are aware of its niche market and red-light district surroundings, Hotel Diamond proves itself as a comfortable and welcoming lodging choice.

While some guests may not initially realize the nature of the hotel, it’s important to acknowledge that the concept is well-known in certain regions, particularly in Japan. Despite some misconceptions, the hotel distinguishes itself with an exceptional level of cleanliness, ensuring guests feel comfortable regardless of its love hotel designation. The location and facilities are highlights, making it a unique option in its area.
