Riviera on Vaal Resort offers wheelchair accessible areas and ramps, making the facility easily navigable from location to location. The parking areas are conveniently accessible with great staff support. Rooms also accommodate access needs, ensuring comfort for all guests. However, the hotel does encounter some accessibility issues such as the absence of an elevator, broken lifts and a lack of special parking for guests with disabilities. The facility could benefit from updates to better serve older guests and those with specific access needs. On a positive note, the hotel staff are both accessible and friendly, enhancing the overall experience. While the amenities and nearby areas are commendable and the river views impressive, the venue still needs improvements to be fully accessible, particularly for guests with more severe mobility challenges.

The rooms at SUN1 Vereeniging are consistently praised for their cleanliness and neatness, particularly the non-smoking rooms. They provide basic amenities as described in bookings and the proper working air conditioning in some rooms is appreciated.
