The Bay Hotel in Camps Bay is a beachfront hotel that offers a mixed experience for families with children. While some guests had issues with cleanliness and room facilities, others had a positive experience, especially with the breakfast which they found to be one of the finest. Kids loved the hotel, but parents would have preferred more space and facilities. However, the hotel's location on the beachfront is unbeatable. Some guests complained about the noise and lack of privacy in sea-facing rooms, but others found them to be enjoyable. The safety of the hotel was a concern for some guests as vagrants easily gained access to rooms, making it traumatic for children. Additionally, some guests found the environment inappropriate for families as day guests were allowed to flood the pools and drink champagne throughout the day.
