Hotel Lindenhof offers a well-rounded experience that highlights convenience, comfort, and hospitality. Its location adjacent to the train station is a notable advantage, providing easy access to transportation while maintaining a tranquil ambiance that contradicts its proximity to the tracks. The central location facilitates effortless exploration of local attractions, enhanced by complimentary parking facilities that add significant value, especially in an urban setting.
Guests often praise the hotel's dining options, particularly the delightful dinners available at the on-site Indian restaurant and TROYKA, both well-regarded for their delicious food and inviting atmosphere. The breakfast service receives mixed reviews; though ample and enjoyable for many guests, some suggest an improvement in variety would bring it closer to European standards expected from a four-star hotel.
The accommodations at Hotel Lindenhof stand out for their modern design and cleanliness. Visitors appreciate the spacious, bright rooms equipped with comfortable box spring beds, modern amenities, and sizable bathrooms. Despite occasional lapses in bathroom cleanliness and evening kitchen odors, the overall cleanliness is generally well-received, with soundproof rooms providing a peaceful environment.
The staff at Hotel Lindenhof are frequently celebrated for their friendliness and efficiency, contributing significantly to the positive guest experience. Although rare instances of unfriendliness were noted, the majority of interactions with staff are described as welcoming and accommodating. Furthermore, the availability of free, adjacent parking enhances both the hotel's accessibility and guest convenience.
Overall, while Hotel Lindenhof provides a commendable experience with numerous positive features, some areas could benefit from enhancements to fully meet four-star expectations. Despite these minor shortcomings, the combination of a prime location, excellent dining, comfortable accommodations, and attentive service makes Hotel Lindenhof a preferred choice for many travelers seeking comfort and convenience.

Guests of Hotel Freiraum have commented on the absence of an on-site gym. Instead, the hotel provides free access to a nearby professional gym, located approximately 1 kilometer from the premises. This off-site facility is praised for its top-notch equipment and comprehensive amenities, offering a worthwhile option for fitness enthusiasts willing to make the short journey. However, some visitors expressed confusion or inconvenience due to the need to visit a different hotel to obtain the necessary armband for entry, which led to dissatisfaction for those expecting gym facilities within the hotel's grounds.
