Grand Royal Hotel presents itself as a 4-star establishment, but numerous reviews suggest it falls short of living up to this designation. Many guests express disappointment, observing that the hotel’s facilities and services do not meet the expectations of a true 4-star experience. The most frequently mentioned issues pertain to its outdated decor, subpar room conditions and lack of typical 4-star amenities. Multiple reviews highlight the need for a significant renovation, especially in areas like the bathrooms, which some describe as reminiscent of guesthouses rather than a luxury hotel.
While the property boasts a spa area, its overall condition, including dirty walls and old accessories, detracts from the experience. Furthermore, guests have noted limited menu options and insufficient heating capabilities, particularly in cooler seasons. The hotel's location on a busy street adds another layer of inconvenience for those expecting a tranquil getaway.
In summary, while the Grand Royal Hotel might once have justified its 4-star rating, it currently requires considerable improvements to meet these standards. The recurring sentiment among guests is that the hotel feels more like a 2-star establishment, needing extensive updates and a refresh to restore its former glory.

Andersia Hotel & Spa Poznan, a member of Radisson Individuals, offers a blend of modern amenities and a luxurious feel, meeting many high standards expected of a four-star hotel. Guests often commend the hotel's facilities and services, citing comfortable, well-equipped rooms and generally positive experiences. The hotel is described as wonderful and well-maintained, providing the signature Radisson standard.
Despite these positives, some areas fall short of expectations. There's a consensus that rooms could use some refreshing to truly align with four-star standards. The breakfast service has received notably poor reviews, described as subpar compared to typical offerings at hotels of this class. Additionally, extra charges for amenities like bathrobes and a cold pool have been points of contention, detracting from the overall luxury experience.
The hotel does strive to maintain its four-star rating, but some guests feel it verges closer to a three-star experience in certain aspects. This inconsistency suggests that while many features and services align well with four-star expectations, there is room for improvement to fully meet guests' high standards. Despite these critiques, long-term stayers often have positive remarks, highlighting the hotel’s potential and overall quality.

Novotel Poznan Centrum presents itself as a four-star hotel, but guest reviews indicate that it falls short of this designation in several areas. While the hotel is described as being clean and reasonably priced, there appears to be a discrepancy between its positioning and the level of service and facilities offered. Several guests felt the hotel seemed outdated, with a clash between the Novotel brand, typically associated with more premium offerings, and a resemblance to Ibis, known for budget accommodations. Concerns were noted regarding the soundproofing of rooms and the quality of breakfast, which did not seem to meet the expectations of a four-star establishment. Television services were also criticized for limited program selection and poor reception quality, contributing to an overall sentiment that the hotel does not quite deliver the comfort expected at this price point. Despite these issues, some reviews acknowledge the hotel's potential for improvement, signaling a satisfactory stay for those prioritizing affordability over luxury.
