Hotel Astor presents a mixed impression, particularly when considering its official three-star rating. On the positive side, it offers a very good price-performance ratio. Guests frequently mention good value for money, emphasizing that for the price, expectations should not extend beyond basic comforts. Despite the compact size, facilities like showers are appreciated and the beds, though described as soft, are deemed satisfactory for a restful sleep.
The hotel successfully meets the expectations for a three-star accommodation, providing essential amenities required for a comfortable stay. For budget-conscious travelers, it represents a sensible option given the manageable cost.
However, not all feedback is favorable. Some reviews argue that the hotel falls below the standards expected from a three-star establishment, citing room service inadequacies and wear and tear that detract from its classification. A few even suggest that it aligns more closely with a one-star rating rather than maintaining its three-star status.
In conclusion, while Hotel Astor may not impress those seeking luxury, it succeeds in delivering a reasonable stay, balancing costs with basic accommodation needs.
