NH Ciutat de Reus, while maintaining its status as a four-star establishment, receives mixed reviews regarding its alignment with the expected standards of its rating. Many guests feel that although it is labeled as a 4-star hotel, it falls short in delivering on key expectations. There are comments about its somewhat outdated condition and the unavailability of certain amenities like a kettle and complimentary water, which are often standard in similar establishments.
The hotel does deliver in terms of being an international, fully air-conditioned facility, providing good value for money despite some limitations. However, certain guests mention it as being more comparable to three-star offerings in terms of overall service and facilities. Additionally, there were instances, such as the restaurant being closed on a Saturday, where guests found the service lacking for a hotel of this caliber. Overall, while there are some positive aspects and it functions well for what it offers, guests often expect more from a hotel bearing a four-star classification, especially from a recognized brand like NH.

Brea's Hotel offers a mix of positive experiences and room for improvement according to guest reviews. While many found the service and amenities to be on par with other four-star establishments, some areas fell short of expectations. The rooms are generally described as spacious, comfortable and functional, aligning well with its four-star designation. The hotel itself is considered worth a return visit by satisfied guests.
However, several aspects such as cleanliness, bedding quality and the breakfast service have been noted as needing enhancement to truly meet four-star standards. Guests also pointed out issues like minor bathroom damage and small televisions, which detract from the overall experience. Generally, while the hotel meets its category in some areas, others believe it falls short of the full four-star experience they anticipated.
