The Lakeview Hotel Motel offers a compelling stay for travelers, thanks to its exceptional location, quality dining, comfortable accommodations, and excellent service. Nestled near Lake Illawarra and within walking distance of shopping centers like Stockland and Shellharbour Square, the motel's prime location is perfect for guests who wish to explore both nature and local amenities. Despite being close to a busy road, it provides a tranquil environment conducive to relaxation or business visits.
Guests consistently praise the dining experiences, particularly the well-priced and delicious pub and bistro food, with dinner offerings notable for their quality and generous portions. However, the absence of a breakfast option requires guests to plan accordingly. The accommodations are modern, clean, and exceed expectations for the price range. Newly renovated rooms, complete with contemporary amenities, ensure comfort and convenience. The comfort of the beds further enhances the stay, providing a restful night's sleep.
A hallmark of the motel is its commitment to cleanliness, with rooms and bathrooms maintained to a high standard. While isolated incidents of cleanliness issues are noted, they are exceptions rather than the norm. Additionally, the friendly and accommodating staff significantly elevate the guest experience, often going above and beyond to ensure visitors feel welcome and well-cared-for.
Some areas for improvement include expanding in-room Wi-Fi access, as current connectivity is limited to public areas. Despite this, the Lakeview Hotel Motel remains a favored choice for those seeking a relaxing and hassle-free stay, offering great value for money in a comfortable setting.

Hotel TOTTO Wollongong presents a mixed bag of accessibility experiences for guests with disabilities. On the positive side, the hotel boasts a convenient and central location, making it easy to access the city center, shops and the beach. Guests appreciated the digital self-check-in and check-out processes, which were described as easy and efficient and the 24-hour check-in option adds to the convenience. Availability of accessible facilities and easy access with an elevator were also noted as helpful features.
However, there were a few areas where improvements could be made. The parking, while convenient, lacked coverage in the designated disabled area and some guests found the room insufficiently spacious for mobility aids such as walkers. The need to rearrange room layouts points to potential improvements in spatial design. Mixed reviews about the staff's behavior suggest variability in customer service, highlighting some instances of both lovely, helpful interactions and less favorable experiences.
To further improve accessibility, clearer communication regarding amenities and specific needs during the booking and check-in process could enhance the overall experience for guests with disabilities.

Guests with disabilities will appreciate the easy access to ground-level apartments and clear directions provided to rooms, making navigation around the property straightforward. Car parking is readily available, ensuring a hassle-free arrival and departure.
However, the hotel lacks an elevator, posing a challenge for guests with mobility issues or those carrying heavy luggage. Lakeside Inn Wollongong offers a generally positive experience for guests with disabilities. The accommodation features easily accessible parking and a picturesque lake right in front of the door, making the arrival experience straightforward. The main accommodation block is well-suited for those with accessibility issues, featuring a useful wheelchair ramp. Guests have noted that the access way and facilities have been adapted to ensure comfort and ease of use.
However, there are a few points of concern regarding accessibility. The lakeside cabins are not suitable for individuals with mobility disabilities and the bathroom space can be quite tight. Although the disability access room is spacious, it hasn't been fully renovated yet, which may impact the level of comfort. Additionally, there are no lifts or elevators for upper floor rooms, posing a challenge for guests needing to carry heavy items or those with toddlers.
Overall, while the complex needs some tidying up and occasional maintenance issues need addressing, the inn still provides a generally accessible and enjoyable stay.
