The Downings Bay Hotel is a great choice for tourists looking for a beautiful and convenient location to explore Donegal. The hotel is located right beside a stunning beach and is close to local attractions and activities. The breakfast experience is lovely with a wide variety of hot and cold items on the menu. While some guests had mixed experiences with the food, the majority found it to be good or excellent with delicious food and friendly, helpful staff. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and well-furnished with modern bathrooms and excellent housekeeping. The hotel is also very clean and well-maintained with friendly and accommodating staff. However, the wifi leaves a lot to be desired. The hotel is a great option for families with kids with a play area and accommodating dietary restrictions. The beds are cozy and warm, providing a comfortable and restful night's sleep. Overall, the Downings Bay Hotel is a lovely, clean and inviting hotel that won't disappoint.
