Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
The Lakeview Hotel Motel offers a compelling stay for travelers, thanks to its exceptional location, quality dining, comfortable accommodations, and excellent service. Nestled near Lake Illawarra and within walking distance of shopping centers like Stockland and Shellharbour Square, the motel's prime location is perfect for guests who wish to explore both nature and local amenities. Despite being close to a busy road, it provides a tranquil environment conducive to relaxation or business visits.
Guests consistently praise the dining experiences, particularly the well-priced and delicious pub and bistro food, with dinner offerings notable for their quality and generous portions. However, the absence of a breakfast option requires guests to plan accordingly. The accommodations are modern, clean, and exceed expectations for the price range. Newly renovated rooms, complete with contemporary amenities, ensure comfort and convenience. The comfort of the beds further enhances the stay, providing a restful night's sleep.
A hallmark of the motel is its commitment to cleanliness, with rooms and bathrooms maintained to a high standard. While isolated incidents of cleanliness issues are noted, they are exceptions rather than the norm. Additionally, the friendly and accommodating staff significantly elevate the guest experience, often going above and beyond to ensure visitors feel welcome and well-cared-for.
Some areas for improvement include expanding in-room Wi-Fi access, as current connectivity is limited to public areas. Despite this, the Lakeview Hotel Motel remains a favored choice for those seeking a relaxing and hassle-free stay, offering great value for money in a comfortable setting.
