The Holiday Inn Chicago Oakbrook by IHG offers guests the convenience of an on-site swimming pool, which is appreciated as one of the few remaining hotel pools post-pandemic. This amenity provides a welcome respite for travelers desiring to take a dip, albeit the experience seems mixed. The pool is reported to be on the smaller side, which may lead to a crowded atmosphere, possibly influenced by concurrent events or conventions in the vicinity. Despite some challenges with water cleanliness and maintenance, the presence of the pool is valued, particularly for those who can find the right moment to enjoy it when open. Additionally, the nearby shopping and dining options, along with Bar Louie, significantly enhance the overall experience for guests, making the location appealing even with pool limitations.
