Guests at the Howard Johnson by Wyndham Williamsburg have shared a range of experiences about the hotel’s pool. Many appreciated the indoor pool, describing it as clean, fun and a nice amenity when it was available. Some found it to be a good resource for kids and one reviewer even noted that the pool was good with free water. For those who were able to use it, the pool area was often described as enjoyable and comfortable.
However, numerous guests reported that the pool was frequently closed, sometimes due to renovations or maintenance issues. This lack of availability was a recurrent theme with several reviewers mentioning their disappointment that the pool was not operational despite it being advertised as a feature of the hotel. Additionally, some guests noted that when the pool was open, it had issues such as being too cold or overly chlorinated, detracting from their experience.
Overall, while the indoor pool at Howard Johnson by Wyndham Williamsburg seems to have potential for a positive experience, reliability and maintenance appear to be significant concerns among guests.
