Vagabond Inn Bakersfield South offers some accessible features for guests with disabilities, though experiences vary. The hotel has areas that are easily accessible and all the necessary amenities, including nearby businesses and shopping, are within reach. However, several reviews highlight significant challenges, such as the unavailability of designated handicap rooms despite bookings and inadequate bathroom accessibility. The rooms themselves garnered mixed feedback regarding cleanliness and overall condition with some guests noting they were broken and old. Despite these issues, there is a willingness from the staff to accommodate dissatisfied guests, as evidenced by refunds and cancellations being efficiently processed. Overall, while there are accessible offerings, improvements in room accessibility and maintenance are needed.
