IKAR - Fasthotel Blois presents a mixed experience in terms of accessibility for guests with disabilities. On the positive side, it features spacious and accessible rooms, with some adapted facilities to accommodate disabled guests. The location, set within an industrial park, is easily accessible, especially for those arriving by car. Guests have praised the hotel for its very good breakfast, which can be enjoyed in a large, accessible dining area.
However, several challenges arise for those with mobility concerns. Notably, the hotel does not have an elevator, which can pose difficulties navigating to upper floors. Some guests mentioned issues related to stairs that lack automated lighting, increasing the risk for individuals requiring additional assistance. This presents a significant inconvenience, particularly for elderly guests or those with heavy luggage. Rooms positioned on higher floors may be best suited for more physically active individuals who can manage the stairs. Overall, while there are commendable aspects regarding room accessibility, the absence of an elevator and lighting in the stairway are notable concerns that guests should consider before booking.
