Mondello Beach Rooms - by the sea offers a prime beachfront location, just steps away from a beautiful beach, making it a suitable choice for beach lovers seeking proximity to the sea. The rooms are spacious, resembling studio apartments, providing ample space for guests. There is a good café located nearby to compensate for the lack of included breakfast.
However, the overall condition of the building leaves much to be desired. It is situated in a poorly maintained condominium with dilapidated elevators and a rundown exterior. The facilities are not as advertised and there are no arrangements for parking, necessitating an extra expense. Dropping off luggage after check-out is not an option, adding to the inconvenience. Additionally, the check-in process is noted to be very complicated.
While the price is lower compared to other nearby hotels and Airbnbs, it may not justify the discrepancy between expectations and reality with some guests feeling that the actual state of the venue does not live up to its photos. This hotel might be suitable for a brief one-night stay before a departure, but perhaps not for longer stays.
