Friendly staff at the bar enhance the guest experience, although there are instances of typical additional charges and less desirable customer service. Despite these minor drawbacks, the hotel is generally regarded as above average and worth recommending for its class.

If you're passing through Spokane looking for a lovely place to stay, consider Ruby River Hotel. This remodeled hotel provides similar amenities to an apartment or motel with passable facilities and services. While the price point is somewhat high for a one night stay, guests have praised the reasonable cost and proximity to events like Hoopfest. The breakfast was just okay with limited options, but for those who prioritize a hot breakfast, guests recommend the hotel invest in an automated pancake and/or waffle maker. Although there were signs for an on-site market, guests could not locate it due to the hotel's layout being a bit spread out.
