The Best Western Orlando Gateway Hotel presents a mix of reactions from its guests regarding its facilities and services. Many guests find great value in this hotel, appreciating its affordable prices and comfortable beds, which contribute positively to their overall experience. The location and views are frequently described as glamorous, enhancing their stay.
However, the hotel's four-star rating is subject to substantial criticism. Numerous guests feel that the rating is inflated, suggesting that the hotel deserves no more than one or two stars. This sentiment arises from observations of outdated furniture, especially the doors and the overall old appearance of the hotel. Some reviews cite a lack of cleanliness and poor management as significant drawbacks. Despite these issues, some guests were satisfied with the cold air conditioning, friendly staff and the overall value for money.
The discrepancy in ratings and expectations suggests that while the hotel offers some commendable features and affordability, it struggles to meet the four-star standard it advertises. Therefore, potential guests might find it beneficial to weigh the value proposition against their expectations for a four-star hotel experience.
