Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Tides Inn at Stehli Beach garners a largely positive reception, particularly praised for its excellent location. Situated directly across from a picturesque beach, it offers easy access to sun, sand and sea, making it a favored spot for beach lovers. The tranquil and safe surroundings, along with proximity to shops and restaurants, add to its appeal. Although some guests noted a slight odor at low tide, this did not significantly detract from the overall enjoyment of the prime, serene coastal setting.
The staff at Tides Inn are frequently commended for their friendliness and dedication to guest comfort, playing a key role in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Special mentions of exceptional service by specific staff members underscore the team's commitment to a pleasant guest experience, although there are occasional reports of unprofessional behavior.
Room quality at Tides Inn sees mixed reviews. Many guests appreciate the recent upgrades, enjoying clean, spacious and comfortable accommodations with modern amenities like flat-screen TVs and kitchenettes. Rooms offering waterfront views receive particular praise. However, some guests have encountered issues with cleanliness and maintenance, including roaches, outdated facilities and plumbing problems, indicating a need for more consistent upkeep.
Cleanliness overall is another area with mixed feedback. While many guests found their rooms clean and comfortable, others experienced less satisfactory conditions, pointing out issues like filthy bathtubs and construction disruptions.
The breakfast experience varies with some guests lamenting the lack of breakfast options, especially given the room rates and pandemic-related restrictions, while others have praised it as outstanding.
Pools at the inn are noted for their size and privacy, though issues such as cleanliness and occasional closures have caused frustration among some visitors. Additionally, there's a charge to use the pool, including a deposit for a key.
Lastly, the beds at Tides Inn receive favorable reviews with many guests finding them comfortable and clean, facilitating restful sleep.
In summary, Tides Inn at Stehli Beach is celebrated for its prime location and helpful staff, contributing to a relaxing beachside retreat. With ongoing improvements and consistent efforts in maintenance and hospitality, it has the potential to enhance the overall guest experience significantly.
