Explorers Hotel Marne-la-Vallée stands out as an exceptional option for families, particularly those with children. Despite being a three-star establishment, it offers a variety of activities specifically designed for young guests, including a small 3D cinema, a soft play area, a pool, and a playground, ensuring that children are entertained throughout their stay. Visitors frequently highlight the hotel as good value for money, appreciating the clean, welcoming, and friendly atmosphere.
While the hotel operates within the boundaries of a three-star rating, many guests feel it exceeds expectations, noting it as one of the best experiences in its category. Basic yet practical rooms are a standard feature, with some guests acknowledging the need for refurbishment and improvements in some areas. Although there are logistical quirks, such as separate rooms for toilets and sinks, the hotel often surprises guests with its quality and service.
The affordability of the hotel aligns well with the expectations for a three-star accommodation in France, though some feel that premium prices, such as £2,100 for three nights, might not justify the standard rooms offered. Overall, Explorers Hotel is seen as an engaging, child-friendly destination that punches above its weight for a three-star hotel, making it a solid choice for families visiting the area.

Campanile Marne-la-Vallée - Bussy Saint-Georges offers a mixed experience for guests, particularly regarding its three-star rating. Some reviews describe it as a perfect or good three-star hotel, highlighting its quiet, clean environment and reasonable prices. The service quality is deemed professional with facilities that adequately meet the standard expectations for a three-star establishment.
However, many guests feel the hotel falls short of the three-star mark, noting the need for modernization and improvements, particularly with the condition of the carpets. Several reviews mention the hotel’s value for money being subpar, suggesting a reevaluation of its rating. While the prices are seen as reasonable by some, the overall sentiment reflects a hotel that offers average comfort and standard amenities, but does not exceed basic expectations for its rating.
