Ibis Sydney Olympic Park offers a reliable three-star boutique hotel experience, ideal for travelers seeking affordability and convenience. The hotel's clean, comfortable rooms and fantastic location make it an appealing option for event stays. The overall ambiance is fresh and energetic and the friendly staff contribute positively to the guest experience.
The facilities are basic, reflecting the typical standards of a budget hotel. The rooms are small and equipped with minimal amenities, sufficient for a simple, comfortable stay. While the decor and furnishings show signs of aging, the cleanliness and utility of the space are well-maintained.
Despite its appealing aspects, some guests feel that the hotel is overpriced for the level of luxury and amenities provided. There are concerns about minimal extras, especially given the rates that sometimes reach $200 to $300 per night. For those prioritizing location and standard comfort over luxury, ibis Sydney Olympic Park presents a good value for money. However, travelers should manage their expectations regarding lavishness and spaciousness.

Nightcap at Hume Hotel offers good value for money, combining security, comfort and a convenient location. The rooms are described as comfortable and spacious and guests appreciated the cleanliness and friendly staff. There is also an added benefit of free drinks upon arrival and most amenities are easy to access.
However, there are areas for improvement. Some guests experienced a lack of hot water in the showers and found the outside noise to be quite disruptive. Additionally, there were occasional issues with missing amenities such as spare toilet rolls. The lack of a kitchen in the sports bar was noted, although nearby dining options were satisfactory.
Overall, despite a few drawbacks, guests found that for the price paid, their stay was worthwhile.
