Summary of reviews related to the 'Parking' category
Summarized by AI
Bayside Hotel Empangeni offers both positive and negative experiences concerning its parking facilities. On the positive side, many guests appreciate the availability of gated and secure parking, which provides peace of mind for those traveling with their vehicles. The parking area is noted to be spacious, catering to a variety of cars and some reviewers find it suitable for 4x4 vehicles.
However, several aspects of the parking situation have prompted criticism. The parking lot is unpaved with gravel and mud making it difficult to navigate, especially in poor weather. This has caused inconvenience, such as muddy shoes needing to be left outside. Furthermore, the parking area is reported to be uneven and not properly leveled, raising safety and comfort concerns.
Guests are also dissatisfied with being charged for parking, particularly when the area is not in optimal condition. Noise from the parking bays and the proximity of rooms to this area can disrupt sleep. There are suggestions for adding more parking spaces or carports to improve the facility. The entrance near the parking lot is criticized for being dirty, mainly due to its location near a taxi area, detracting from the overall appeal of the entrance.
While there are secured and gated options available, management of the parking area and its upkeep require significant improvements to enhance guest satisfaction.
