The comprehensive refresh will also include a brand new all-day dining restaurant. The three-phase enhancement programme started in July 2016 and completed in October 2017.

Refreshed rooms with contemporary features Each of the 443 rooms and suites will feature a distinct design accent, making each room distinct from its neighbours with the wallpaper highlighting an array of Penang touches such as the trishaw, Peranakan tiles and shop house shutters. Designed with the modern traveller in mind, the rooms will offer innovative working areas, universal sockets and USB charging outlets, as well as a comfortable mattress with 300-thread-count linens and a walk-in shower.
Fresh dining concepts  Cafè Jen is the hotel’s signature all-day dining restaurant where diners can experience authentic local fare with a range of international flavours.  Lobby Lounge, located in the lobby, offers a relaxing spot where guests can enjoy homemade cakes and light meals alongside classic cocktails, fine wines and fresh juices.
