Comfort Inn Burnside receives significant praise for its convenient, central location making it accessible to the city center, CBD, major shopping malls and other amenities. Guests commend its proximity to public transportation, dining options and shops, all adding to the overall convenience. Despite the nearby busy road, the area remains relatively quiet, offering a good balance between accessibility and tranquility. The motor inn also caters well to families and groups, providing good value for money with clean, comfortable rooms and friendly staff.
The rooms at Comfort Inn Burnside are frequently highlighted for their spaciousness and cleanliness with many guests noting the rooms to be larger than expected and equipped with comfortable beds and seating areas. Clean sheets and soft towels further enhance the stay. Staff members, particularly at reception, are praised for their friendliness and helpfulness, providing cheerful and efficient service. Even the housekeeping team receives commendations for maintaining high levels of cleanliness and providing exceptional service.
Though mostly positive, there are occasional critiques regarding dated decor, minor maintenance issues and sometimes room odors. Some mismatches between advertised pictures and actual room appearances were noted, along with sporadic issues of mold, dirty carpets and dusty surfaces which marred an otherwise clean image. Free parking on-site is appreciated for its convenience, though the limited number of spaces and tight parking conditions sometimes pose challenges.
One of the highlighted features is the comfort of the beds, often described as soft, cozy and contributing to a good night's sleep. The provision of amenities such as fridges, microwaves and frequent housekeeping adds to the overall comfort. Despite some deficiencies in the pool area regarding operational and cleanliness issues, the presence of a pool still adds value to the facility.
The wifi service, however, receives consistent criticism for its weak and unstable signal with many users struggling with slow internet speeds and connection dropouts.
Overall, Comfort Inn Burnside delivers a solid value-for-money experience, particularly noted for its good location, clean rooms and comfortable beds. Despite mixed reviews on some features, it remains a reliable choice for budget-conscious travelers seeking a comfortable, short-term stay with essential amenities and friendly service.

Adelaide Travellers Inn Backpackers Hostel receives notable praise for its superb location and exceptional staff service. Situated in a quieter part of Adelaide, the hostel offers excellent accessibility to public transport, making it ideal for travelers wishing to explore the city and its surroundings. Its proximity to popular attractions such as the botanical gardens, bustling markets, and the vibrant Rundle Street—known for its lively bars and restaurants—further enhances its appeal. Guests commend the team, including members like Rob and Rachael, for creating a warm and community-focused atmosphere. However, the hostel faces challenges with cleanliness and maintenance. Common areas and guest rooms often fall short of modern cleanliness standards, with issues such as dirt, clutter, and unpleasant odors reported. Efforts to maintain tidiness each morning appear inadequate to sustain cleanliness throughout the day, which can detract from the expected comfort and hygiene.
The WiFi service primarily functions in common areas, where it serves as a focal point for guests to socialize, although its speed and stability can be inconsistent. Travelers who require reliable internet access are encouraged to utilize these communal spaces during work sessions or online activities.
While the beds meet basic comfort needs for budget travelers, they could benefit from updates to improve the overall sleeping experience. Despite being somewhat rickety and aged, they offer satisfactory rest once settled in, catering to those who value location and community over luxury amenities.
