Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
The Signature Desaru Johor by Glex enjoys a strategic location in Bandar Penawar, providing guests with easy access to Desaru Beach and various local amenities, including shops, restaurants, and a small mall. The proximity to the town center and tourist spots ensures guests can enjoy both relaxation and convenience. Visitors praise the property's cleanliness and well-maintained facilities, contributing to a pleasant stay. Personal parking spaces and efficient check-in and check-out procedures further enhance the hassle-free experience, making it an attractive choice for both families and solo travelers.
The apartment units are consistently lauded for their cleanliness and spaciousness. While there have been minor issues, such as stained furniture and wet floors on arrival, the overall consensus remains positive. Guests appreciate the tidy environment and the completeness of facilities, enhancing their stay, especially with the convenient access to local eateries.
The staff is recognized for their responsiveness and willingness to assist, offering fast service and clear communication. Although there are occasional mentions of delayed responses or issues with attitude, the friendly and helpful demeanor of the staff generally contributes to a welcoming environment.
Guests enjoy the vibrant swimming experience provided by the expansive swimming pools, which are clean and centrally located. The pools cater to both adults and children, with relaxed rules allowing for enjoyable late-night swims.
Parking is abundant, with dedicated spaces ensuring hassle-free access to the building, although the distance from the parking area to the homestay unit is noted by some guests. While convenient, the uncovered walkway from parking can be slightly inconvenient, especially for frequent outings.
However, there are concerns regarding the comfort of the beds, with guests highlighting issues such as outdated mattresses, visible sagging, and unpleasant odors. Despite these shortcomings, rooms are spacious, and improvements in bed quality would enhance the overall guest experience.
WiFi connectivity has been a point of dissatisfaction, with many guests experiencing issues with availability and functionality. Despite some moments of good connectivity, more consistent service would improve the stay further.
Overall, The Signature Desaru Johor by Glex provides a clean, comfortable, and well-located stay with its vibrant pool facilities and responsive staff. Addressing the internet and bed quality issues could significantly enhance the overall guest satisfaction.
