Hotel La Palma Romántica, a three-star accommodation, offers good quality for the price. Though it is not a luxury resort and the furniture is somewhat outdated, the hotel maintains a high standard within its category. The overall decor and rooms have a sense of nostalgia, being the same as they were decades ago, which some guests might find charming.
However, it is evident that certain areas, including the furniture, are in need of renovation. The hotel can appear rather dark due to limited lighting, both inside and outside. Despite its dated appearance, many guests still find it to be an excellent choice in its class. Pricing may lean more towards what one might expect from a four-star hotel, but the quality of service and facilities ensures it stands firmly as a commendable three-star option.

Hotel Castillete presents a balanced option for travelers seeking a modest and affordable stay. While it is positioned conveniently in a lively area, guests should temper their expectations in alignment with its three-star rating. Rooms, though offering excellent value for money, have some outdated furniture and could benefit from better soundproofing. The kitchen facilities are basic but functional, though some utensils may be missing.
Some rooms suffer from limited natural light and occasional disturbances from a busy street. Additionally, certain areas of the hotel are in need of updates to meet modern standards. Guests did encounter a few inconveniences, such as water shortages and noisy appliances during the night.
In essence, Hotel Castillete is suitable for those who prioritize affordability and location with the understanding that certain amenities and comforts may be inconsistent with higher-tier accommodations.
