Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Hotel Costa Brava enjoys an enviable location with convenient access to Manzanillo's beaches, city center, shopping centers and restaurants. Its prime positioning on a main avenue makes it easy to travel to various attractions, while nearby stores and convenience shops add to the guest experience, offering excellent value for the price. The clean and spacious rooms, friendly staff and overall good facilities contribute significantly to a comfortable and quiet stay.
Most guests praise the breakfast offerings, particularly the weekend buffet, for its quality and variety, complemented by good service from the staff. The dinner also receives positive feedback, especially for the seafood buffet, although some areas need improvement, specifically service speed and cost. The dining experience is generally elevated by the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff.
The hotel's rooms are appreciated for being spacious, comfortable and exceptionally clean. However, maintenance issues such as leaking showers, broken fixtures and outdated furniture are noted in some accommodations. Despite occasional noise and discrepancies between online photos and reality, the overall cleanliness and availability of amenities contribute positively to the stay.
Cleanliness is a highlight at Hotel Costa Brava with both rooms and common areas consistently maintained. Nevertheless, isolated incidents involving stained bedding, mosquitoes and cockroaches suggest some areas could use improvement. The staff is generally praised for their attentiveness, friendliness and excellent service, enhancing the guest experience.
The WiFi service is a significant drawback with many guests reporting weak or absent signals in the rooms, particularly on higher floors. However, the hotel's well-maintained and spacious pool is a standout feature, despite occasional complaints about water temperature and maintenance issues.
Parking is a common challenge due to the limited space, resulting in some guests needing to park on the street. Despite these challenges, the hotel is well-regarded for its family-friendly atmosphere, spacious rooms and enjoyable pool area. The staff's attentiveness and the availability of family-oriented activities make it a popular choice for families.
Feedback on the beds varies with some guests finding them comfortable, while others criticize the mattresses for being too hard. Cleanliness issues with bedding and overall room maintenance also receive mixed reviews.
Overall, Hotel Costa Brava is appreciated for its location, cleanliness and friendly staff but faces challenges regarding maintenance, WiFi service and parking. While it is marketed as a four-star hotel, some guests feel its facilities and amenities fall short of that rating.

The rooms are spacious and cozy with amazing beds that are described as spectacular and super comfortable. While some guests had mixed reviews about the dinner options, others enjoyed meals at the specialty restaurants.
