Meliá La Palma is a great four-star hotel located on the sunny side of La Palma, offering a perfect location for relaxation and exploration of the west zone of the island. The hotel is situated alongside a large and beautiful beach with a convenient boardwalk full of cafes and restaurants. Guests appreciate the exceptional location with stunning views of the sea and the pool facing the sea. The breakfast buffet is excellent with plenty of food and choices, including fresh fruits, cheese and meat. The outdoor terrace is charming and the view of the sunset from the pool is breathtaking. The dinner at the hotel receives mixed reviews with some guests finding it good but not great, while others are disappointed in the quality and variety of the food. The rooms are spacious, clean and modern with most offering views of the sea. However, some rooms are outdated and require updates, such as bathroom renovations. The hotel staff is friendly, professional and helpful, although some guests experienced delays due to a lack of staff members. The pool area is stunning, well-maintained and clean with a range of different pool options and entertainment activities. The hotel's prime location right by the sea with a large and spectacular beach just a stone's throw away is a highlight for guests. The parking is ample and free, although some guests mention that it can be limited or poorly managed. The beds are comfortable and most guests enjoy restful nights at Meliá La Palma. Overall, Meliá La Palma provides a satisfactory experience for guests with some areas that require improvement, but the stay is enjoyable for those who visit.
