The TLH Derwent Hotel, part of the TLH Leisure Resort, boasts fantastic facilities, including a lovely indoor pool and great swimming facilities that kids and adults will enjoy. The pool and location are a definite plus, but unfortunately, some guests found the pool temperature too cold or the indoor pool to be cold altogether. The Crofton House Hotel offers a range of facilities, including an indoor swimming pool, games room with free pool, table and darts, sauna and Jacuzzi. However, there were some issues with the maintenance and cleanliness of the pools with some guests reporting green and dirty water. The outdoor pool was also not heated and often unusable. Some guests appreciated the facilities that were working and found them excellent, while others were disappointed that they had booked the hotel for the pool, sauna and hot tub which were out of order or needed to be called in advance to use. The hotel's location was praised, but some guests found the on-site parking at £10 per night too expensive when there was free parking on the street outside. The staff were commended for doing everything they could to help.

For those looking to take a dip during their stay, The Heritage Hotel offers a swimming pool. However, guests should be aware that there is an extra charge to use the pool and availability is limited. Opening times are restricted to before breakfast and late in the evening, which wasn't advertised beforehand. Additionally, some guests noted that they had to walk through the bar area to access the pool, which may not be ideal for those seeking a more relaxing atmosphere.
Despite some limitations with availability, those who did use the pool generally found it to be a good experience. However, cleanliness was a concern for some with one reviewer describing the pool as "disgusting." Additionally, the jacuzzi was found to be empty and full of scum.
It's worth noting that access to leisure facilities in general was limited and the swimming pool had to be booked ahead of time since it was open to the public as well as hotel guests. Overall, while the pool may not be the highlight of a stay at The Heritage Hotel, it's still a good option for those who don't mind limited availability and an occasional lack of cleanliness.
