The Lakeside International Hotel offers a distinct experience characterized by a unique charm that comes from its dated decor and atmosphere. Despite the old-fashioned interior design, which includes rooms that could benefit from an update, the hotel maintains an inviting aura. Guests often find it reminiscent of a throwback to the 80s, which adds a certain nostalgic appeal for some.
What sets the Lakeside International Hotel apart as a great value for money destination are its amenities, which include a small gym and pool. These facilities provide guests with opportunities for relaxation and exercise without having to leave the premises. While the craftsmanship in the culinary department may not rival that of a high-end restaurant, the food is generally considered satisfactory and helps contribute to the affordability of the stay.
In terms of service, the hotel is seen as a calm port in a storm, offering a peaceful respite for those seeking a quieter environment. However, some guests have noted that the property appears tired and requires better maintenance, with an attitude from the staff that could benefit from a more proactive approach to guest satisfaction.
Overall, the Lakeside International Hotel presents a budget-friendly choice that compensates for its shortcomings with its distinctive character and practical amenities.
