Family-friendly amenities and services, such as an outdoor playground and spacious rooms, are generally appreciated, though ensuring specific requests (like cribs) are met in advance might be necessary for a smoother experience.
For business travelers, the hotel’s location, comfortable rooms and professional environment make it a preferred choice. On the other hand, its amenities and services might not cater as well to leisure tourists.
In summary, the Quality Hotel Pampulha & Convention Center excels in providing a clean, comfortable and well-organized stay, bolstered by excellent service, strategic location and commendable amenities, making it a favorable option for business and event-related visitors in Belo Horizonte.

Hotel Esplanada Belo Horizonte - Proximo a Estacao de Trem enjoys a prime central location, making it easily accessible to various transportation hubs like the Vale train station and bus stations. Guests appreciate the proximity to numerous attractions, restaurants, bars and shops, facilitating the exploration of downtown Belo Horizonte. The friendly and helpful staff contribute significantly to a positive overall experience, enhancing the hotel’s appeal.
Guests generally commend the breakfast at Hotel Esplanada, particularly the quality of the coffee and specific items like cheese bread and fresh fruit. However, there are frequent suggestions for expanding the variety and ensuring a more consistent replenishment of items to improve the overall breakfast experience.
The rooms offer a mixed experience. On the positive side, some rooms are spacious and equipped with necessary amenities like air conditioning and mini fridges. However, many guests highlight issues with outdated furniture, poor maintenance and cleanliness concerns, such as mold and insect presence. Similar trends appear in the cleanliness category where clean bedding and well-maintained hallways contrast sharply with reports of dirty carpets, moldy bathrooms and inadequate daily cleaning.
The staff receive high praise for their politeness and readiness to assist, notably enhancing guests' stays. Specific employees like Edmar and Luiz Fernando often receive individual commendations for their exceptional service. Despite this, occasional reports of unresponsiveness from some receptionists do appear, though they are relatively rare.
Wi-Fi services are reviewed inconsistently. While some guests find the internet connection satisfactory or even excellent, many face challenges such as unstable connections, especially on higher floors and frequent drops. The hotel's quick response to these issues, typically by calling technicians, is positively noted but overall improvements in Wi-Fi consistency are needed.
Parking at the hotel presents several challenges. Many guests note the limited, tight and small parking spaces that come with additional fees. Safety and accessibility issues are also highlighted, yet for some, the convenience of having parking near a busy area is appreciated despite its flaws.
The hotel fosters a family-friendly environment, making it suitable for families, though the surrounding nightlife generates significant noise, making it challenging for light sleepers. Additionally, although the nightlife adds vibrancy to the area, it may not be ideal for those seeking a quieter stay or traveling with young children.
Lastly, the beds at Hotel Esplanada receive mostly negative feedback for being uncomfortable with many complaints about old, hard or too low beds and issues with the mattresses. Upgrading the bedding could significantly enhance the guest experience, aligning comfort with the hotel's advantageous central location.
In summary, Hotel Esplanada Belo Horizonte offers a strategically located accommodation with friendly staff and certain comforts but faces considerable room for improvement in areas such as breakfast variety, room maintenance, cleanliness, Wi-Fi reliability, parking organization and bed comfort.
