The amenities by the pool are excellent and towels are provided for convenience. Although the pool is not heated, it is clean and well-maintained. Some guests preferred to use the pool area instead of the beach. The pool view rooms are the best and the pool and ocean views are stunning!

However, some guests were disappointed that the pool was not heated, which made it too cold to swim. Some others were upset that the pool was shut down for maintenance and the renovation wasn't done as promised. Also, some people complained about the noise made by patrons in the pool in the middle of the night.

Despite these issues, many guests appreciated the easy access to the beach, which is oceanfront. The bar staff at Santiago's was also awesome and guests enjoyed the tiki bar and the BBQ near the pool. However, some guests were disappointed that the Tiki bar closed early and the pool was closed by dark. Moreover, some amenities were missing, such as a bathroom by the pool, a hot tub and the pool being chlorine.

In summary, the Guy Harvey Resort on Saint Augustine Beach offers a great pool area, which is loved by many guests due to its stunning views, cleanliness and convenient amenities. However, there are some maintenance issues and amenities that need improvement, such as heating the pool, adding a hot tub and a bathroom by the pool.
