Despite an added resort fee, the hotel's facilities and services for business travelers are mostly positive. The staff, especially the concierge, is friendly and helpful. The location is great as it is situated in Union Square. However, there were some disappointments such as the lack of restaurant service to the room which was very disappointing. The absence of door men on the Union Park side and concierge manning the desk ever contributed to an overall anonymous ambience. The hotel also received criticisms for zero help in booking attractions, theater tickets and dining reservations. The front desk was overwhelmed by the crowds trying to check-in, but the hotel still offers a great value for money.
