The hotel offers satisfactory facilities typical of a three-star establishment, including clean and modern rooms. However, a few reviewers noted that the hotel appears a bit outdated and some areas—like the rooms and hallways—could benefit from renovations to meet modern three-star standards.
The services offered at the hotel are simple but efficient with a standard, well-cared-for breakfast being a highlight for many guests. While it does provide basic amenities, some visitors felt that additional comforts such as hand towels should be included. Despite the straightforward service, some guests had exceptional experiences during their stay.
Overall, Ibis Liège Centre Opéra offers a practical and cost-effective option for travelers with a few limitations that are expected at this star level. Adjusting expectations to the straightforward standard of a three-star hotel will ensure a pleasant stay.

Hotel Le Cygne d'Argent has received several guest reviews highlighting various aspects of their experience. Although the hotel is marketed as a three-star establishment, numerous guests feel it falls short of this rating. Common complaints include outdated facilities, poor sound insulation and the inconveniences associated with a three-story building that lacks an elevator. The furniture has been described as old and scratchy and some reviewers even went as far as to say the hotel feels more like a two-star accommodation than a three-star one.
Additionally, there appears to be an issue with breakfast service with some guests reporting they did not receive breakfast at all. Despite these concerns, one reviewer noted that the hotel met their needs as a low-budget option, although the majority opinion is that the price is excessive considering the overall quality and experience. Many guests firmly believe that Hotel Le Cygne d'Argent does not live up to its advertised rating or price point.
