The other pools on-site were also popular among the guests, who used all of them during their stay. However, some guests expressed frustration about having to reserve pool areas and being charged for it. In addition, the poolside drinks were pricey, but this did not affect the overall enjoyment of the pool. The resort also impressed guests with its beautiful lobby and boutique shops. Despite one of the pools being under maintenance during the stay, guests still found the pool area and spa to be great with plenty of amenities to enjoy. Overall, guests couldn't get enough of the pool area at the JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa.

Although some guests reported that the pool was a bit dirty and the water like a bath, the staff is always friendly and working hard, even in extreme heat with a shortage of fans. One guest reported disturbances caused by rude guests at the bar, but security removed them promptly. Overall, the fact that the pool is heated and open 24 hours is just wonderful, although guests may want to plan eating options in advance as they are limited.

Unfortunately, some guests couldn't enjoy the pools and jacuzzi due to colder weather, but overall, the outdoor heated pool and incredible pool facilities were a highlight of their stay.
