Hotel Weisses Kreuz is a Swiss three-star hotel offering an affordable stay with good value for money. The facility meets the typical standards expected of a three-star property, providing adequate amenities that cater to everyday needs. However, the building itself is quite old and the interiors are noticeably dated. The furniture could use refreshing and some guests have suggested an update in decor to enhance the overall experience.
Despite its age, the hotel maintains functional room heaters which keep guests comfortable. The breakfast, while consisting mainly of convenience products, is generally considered to be of lower quality compared to other Swiss hotels in the same category.
The small bathrooms and outdated interiors reduce the overall appeal and some reviewers feel that the hotel does not meet a one-star rating. However, for those seeking basic and affordable accommodations in Switzerland, Hotel Weisses Kreuz provides an adequate option with a fair balance between cost and service.

Hotel De La Paix, a charming 3-star accommodation, has appealed to guests with its nostalgic charm and personal touch. Nestled in a residential area, this family-run hotel resembles a cosy bed and breakfast. Its quaint and clean atmosphere is often celebrated, alongside a notable commitment to kindness from the staff. While the building is older and does exhibit some creaking, guests generally find the place clean and comfortable. The value for money is seen as commendable, particularly in comparison to other travel destinations. However, there are suggestions for updates, particularly in the bathrooms and some furnishings, to enhance comfort and practicality. Despite these areas for improvement, the hotel's charm and atmosphere make it a delightful choice for those seeking a boutique hotel experience.

Hotel Toscana has received mixed reviews, predominantly highlighting concerns regarding its three-star rating. Many guests felt that the hotel falls short of this ranking with some suggesting it deserves only one or two stars due to outdated facilities and issues such as mould on the shower curtains and ripped bedding and sheets. The decor and furniture did not impress and the hotel lacked amenities like flowers, flags, covered café tables or advanced room specifications typically seen in similarly rated hotels in other countries like the Netherlands, Germany or Belgium.
On a positive note, the hotel has been described as clean. Additionally, it is considered conveniently located, though some believe there are better hotels available in the same price range and area. Despite the criticisms, guests who did not expect much were somewhat satisfied with their stay. Overall, many believe the hotel does not justify its pricing and three-star status.
