Viktoriya Family Hotel Restaurant complex presents a multifaceted experience largely appreciated for its offerings and service, despite certain drawbacks.
Situated a bit away from the city’s main attractions, the hotel’s location may require a 20-30 minute journey to reach the city center. This distance is manageable through easily accessible public transportation and nearby conveniences such as supermarkets, shopping centers, stores, pharmacies and a PCR testing laboratory. The reasonable pricing of the hotel somewhat offsets the travel inconvenience, making it a fitting choice especially for long-term stays and business trips.
Guests have highlighted the hearty and delicious breakfast served at the hotel's restaurant, commending the friendly staff for their service. However, the late breakfast starting time at 11:00 am proves inconvenient for early risers or those needing an earlier meal. Some guests also reported long wait times and occasional inconsistencies in quality. Those in sync with the restaurant’s timings generally enjoy a pleasant dining experience.
The rooms at the hotel are notably spacious, modern and equipped with necessary amenities like cable TV and hygiene products. The aesthetically pleasing design and modern furnishings add to the appeal. However, some rooms lack windows, leading to a closed-off feeling and smoking is permitted in many rooms, which often results in a lingering smoky smell. Cleanliness issues and noise disruptions have also been reported, alongside problems like inadequate air conditioning and missing essential items such as fridges or kettles. Nevertheless, the presence of amenities like a sauna and overall modern room furnishings contribute positively to the guest experience.
Cleanliness at the hotel is generally well-regarded with many guests praising the clean linens, large TVs and well-maintained premises. The spacious rooms with orthopedic mattresses contribute to a comfortable stay. While there are occasional complaints about specific aspects like hygiene products or bathroom cleanliness, most reviews reflect a commitment to maintaining a clean and pleasant environment.
The staff at Viktoriya Family Hotel Restaurant complex is often highlighted as exceptional with many guests appreciating their professionalism, politeness and readiness to assist. Reception staff members such as Anna, Marina, Elena and Mr. Mohammed frequently receive commendations for their efforts to foster a welcoming and supportive atmosphere. Although there are rare mentions of rudeness, the staff's overall warmth and helpfulness greatly enhance the guest experience.
The beds receive mixed feedback. Some guests positively note the clean rooms and comfortable mattresses allowing for pleasant sleep. However, there are several remarks about old, squeaky and uncomfortable mattresses that need replacement. Instances of stained bedding and other cleanliness concerns also highlight areas for improvement.
In summary, the Viktoriya Family Hotel Restaurant complex provides a comfortable and modern stay with notable staff service and convenient vicinity amenities. While certain aspects like breakfast timing, room cleanliness and bed quality require attention, the overall experience remains positive for many guests.
