CAMPING DE BESALU is highly regarded for its exceptional location, offering a serene and tranquil escape amidst nature's splendor. Nestled in the mountains with stunning vistas of the village, river, and mountains, it serves as a perfect base for exploring the charming village of Besalú and surrounding areas like Gironès and Garrotxa. The campsite is particularly favored for its modern and well-crafted bungalows, especially the deluxe versions, which provide a comfortable and pet-friendly stay enhanced by captivating views.
The friendly and attentive staff, including standout members such as Marcelo, Claudio, and Jesica, are frequently praised for their warmth and considerate service, further enriching the guest experience. They are noted for their ability to make guests feel well-cared-for and comfortable, contributing positively to the overall ambiance of the site.
However, while the location and staff receive significant praise, there are concerns about cleanliness that detract from the experience. Issues with unclean bungalows, lack of maintenance, and insufficient cleaning supplies are noted by several guests, indicating a need for improved hygiene and regular upkeep.
Despite mixed feedback on the beds, with opinions varying on comfort, many guests appreciate the spacious and scenic accommodations. The combination of the site's natural beauty, relaxing atmosphere, and excellent service creates an inviting place for visitors seeking a charming getaway, but attention to cleanliness remains essential for enhancing guest satisfaction.
