Villa Appiani Hotel is renowned for its exceptional location and charming, historical ambience. Set in a beautifully restored 18th-century villa, the hotel offers convenient access to both Bergamo airport and Milan, making it ideal for travelers exploring Lombardy and Piedmont. The hotel stands out with its elegance and proximity to attractive local amenities such as the Adda river park, an old castle and Leolandia amusement park. Although some guests noted minor inconveniences like limited parking and restaurant availability, the overall atmosphere is serene and welcoming.
The hotel's breakfast is generally praised for its delicious quality and variety, including options like cakes, bacon and eggs. Despite some suggestions for improvement, particularly in providing more fresh fruits and vegetables, the breakfast experience is mostly positive with many recognizing good value for the price.
Dinner at the hotel’s Restaurant La Cantina receives high marks for its exquisite cuisine and excellent service. Guests enjoy the option of indoor and outdoor seating and find the wine list to be commendable. While dining can be considered expensive and less child-friendly, the quality of food and overall dining experience are highly regarded.
Rooms at Villa Appiani blend historical charm with modern comforts. They are frequently noted for being clean, comfortable and spacious, featuring stylish decor and Mediterranean flair. High ceilings and wooden floors add to the historic ambiance while maintaining modern convenience. Despite occasional issues with room size and specific amenities, the hotel offers a pleasing and serene stay.
The cleanliness of the hotel is a standout feature with daily attention to tidiness and organization. Guests appreciate the spotless rooms and facilities, contributing to a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.
