Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Hotel El Paraiso De La Sierra receives overwhelmingly positive reviews for its serene and scenic location, perched amidst nature with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Guests praise its proximity to the Sierra, offering a tranquil environment perfect for relaxation and escaping city life. The beautiful landscapes, lush park and picturesque garden enhance its appeal, especially for nature lovers and trekking enthusiasts. While the hotel's distance from the city center presents a minor inconvenience, the majority find the peacefulness and seclusion worthwhile. The hotel's strategic location on Route 226 provides easy access for travelers, though some note occasional noise from the nearby road.
Guests appreciate the extensive facilities, including a well-maintained pool and BBQ area. The clean and inviting interiors, coupled with the warm and friendly staff, contribute to a welcoming atmosphere. Waking up to spectacular mountain views and enjoying breakfast with a scenic backdrop are standout features frequently highlighted by visitors.
The breakfast experience is generally well-received with many guests praising its completeness, quality and diverse offerings. However, some suggest improvements in variety, especially for savory items like ham and cheese. Despite occasional criticisms about the limited variety and freshness, most guests find the breakfast satisfying and in line with the price paid. The hotel’s dining room and service receive commendations for their comfort and attentiveness.
Dinner options, however, are a notable drawback. The hotel does not provide lunch or dinner services and guests must bring their own food or rely on delivery services. The staff’s accommodating nature, allowing guests to use the dining area for meals and offering afternoon snacks, mitigates this limitation. Potential visitors should plan their meals, especially if without a vehicle.
The rooms receive mixed reviews, mainly due to their small size and lack of storage space. Despite issues such as poor ventilation, insufficient lighting and noise from adjacent rooms, many guests appreciate the cleanliness and pleasant aroma of the rooms. The heating systems generally ensure warmth and some rooms offer beautiful views, making them comfortable for short stays. However, the outdated facilities and lack of modern amenities suggest a need for modernization.
Cleanliness is a standout feature with guests repeatedly highlighting the hotel's immaculate condition. The cleaning services receive high praise, contributing significantly to the comfort and satisfaction of guests. The staff's exceptional friendliness and attentiveness further enhance the guest experience, making the hotel highly recommended for a comfortable and welcoming stay.
Regarding wifi, guest experiences are mixed. While many find the wifi satisfactory with a good signal and fast speeds, others report issues such as slow and unstable connections.
The pool area is a significant draw, praised for its cleanliness, beauty and the pleasant ambiance of the adjacent garden and views. Although the pool is on the smaller side and not heated, which sometimes results in colder water temperatures, it remains a highlight of the hotel’s outdoor space.
Parking is ample and free, though it lacks coverage and nighttime monitoring. The area shows signs of wear and would benefit from improvements, raising concerns about vehicle safety for some visitors.
The hotel excels as a family-friendly destination with well-maintained parks, playgrounds and activities for children creating an inviting environment for family vacations. While not ideal for those with very small children, it remains a popular choice for family stays.
Feedback on the beds is mixed with many guests finding them comfortable and appreciating the clean bedding. However, issues with mattress quality, size and noise are noted, indicating room for improvement. Despite these drawbacks, most guests find the beds offering a decent resting experience.
Overall, Hotel El Paraiso De La Sierra provides a delightful retreat with remarkable views, making it highly recommended for those seeking peace, nature and a bit of seclusion.
