Borgo Sant'Ippolito Country Hotel, nestled in a serene rural area, provides a strategic location for exploring Tuscany's iconic cities like Florence, Pisa, Siena and Lucca. Its tranquil setting on the outskirts of Empoli ensures a relaxing break from city life while offering convenient access to regional attractions. The picturesque and lush environment, combined with well-maintained grounds, enhances the hotel’s charm and tranquility.
The breakfast experience at the hotel is highly commended, offering a plentiful and varied spread featuring both sweet and savory options, including delightful homemade cakes and pies. Guests appreciate dining outdoors in a well-maintained area or on a picturesque terrace, which adds to the relaxing ambiance. Despite minor suggestions for more variety, the quality and hearty nature of the breakfast garner positive feedback overall.
Dining is further enhanced by a superb independent restaurant located conveniently across the street, serving delicious Tuscan dishes and wines at great prices. The restaurant’s ambiance and proximity contribute significantly to the overall dining experience during the stay.
Rooms at Borgo Sant’Ippolito Country Hotel exude charm and comfort, being spacious, clean and welcoming. Guests favor the peaceful environment and effective soundproofing, ensuring restful stays even during hot weather. The cleanliness and roominess of the bathrooms, especially the walk-in showers, are particular highlights. Despite some guests noting that rooms could feel a bit dated and dark, the overall cleanliness and comfortable bedding compensate well.
