Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Hôtel Des Princes is set in an enchanting location along the shores of Lake Geneva, offering guests picturesque views and convenient access to lake activities. The hotel's serene environment and strategic position for exploring nearby attractions enhance its appeal, supported by the warm hospitality of the staff which adds to the tranquil lakeside experience. Guests consistently praise the hotel's breakfast, noting the delicious and hearty options available, served in a bright and welcoming setting that often includes a stunning view of the lake. Some guests suggest more local options could improve the breakfast, although the overall experience remains positive.
Dining at Hôtel Des Princes' La Marina restaurant is a highlight, with guests enjoying the exceptional cuisine against the backdrop of the lake. The restaurant is recommended for its quality dishes and gourmet menu, although some find the prices a bit high. Rooms at the hotel present varied experiences; those with lake views are appreciated for their spaciousness and modern amenities, while road-facing rooms suffer from noise issues. Guests note the charming architecture of the hotel but suggest modern updates for a more comfortable stay, particularly related to space utilization and soundproofing.
Cleanliness is generally well-regarded, though some areas show signs of wear, particularly the carpets and certain bathroom fixtures. While the hotel's staff is mostly praised for their courteousness and professionalism, particularly in the restaurant, there are suggestions for improvement in the front desk service to enhance consistency in guest interactions. The outdoor infinity pool offers lovely views of the lake, although its maintenance and size have mixed reviews. Lastly, the beds receive mixed feedback, with comments on comfort and some suggestions for improvement in bedding quality. Overall, Hôtel Des Princes provides a charming and memorable lakeside retreat, with its breathtaking location, delightful dining options, and hospitable staff contributing to a mostly positive guest experience.
