The Kimpton Overland Hotel - Atlanta Airport by IHG impresses guests with its superb location near the airport, making it an ideal stopover for travelers. Despite its proximity to the runway, the hotel maintains a quiet ambiance, thanks to soundproof windows, enhancing the peaceful retreat atmosphere. It's conveniently located next to the Porsche Experience Center, offering guests thrilling views and unique experiences.
The hotel's cleanliness stands out, with many praising the immaculate state of both rooms and common areas. Alongside elegant décor and well-maintained facilities, the staff's friendliness and attentiveness significantly contribute to the overall positive experience. Specific team members are recognized for exceptional service, elevating the welcoming and courteous atmosphere.
Dining at the hotel receives mixed feedback, but breakfast at The Apron is notably praised for its variety and quality. Guests appreciate the leisurely breakfast hours and commend the service. The dinner menu, while lauded for taste, attracts criticism over limited options and high pricing. However, the complimentary wine hour and the scenic views from the rooftop bar add to the pleasurable dining experiences.
Rooms are described as spacious, modern, and soundproof, featuring comfortable beds that ensure restful sleep. Guests enjoy additional amenities like Nespresso machines, and many rooms offer pleasing views, enhancing the luxury feel of their stay. While occasional issues with room readiness and size are noted, the overall accommodation quality is highly regarded.
Guests applaud the hotel's pet-friendly policy, allowing dogs without extra charges, thus accommodating pet owners generously. The property offers practical amenities for pets, further emphasizing its commitment to creating a welcoming environment for all guests.
The heated pool and rooftop bar offer a relaxing and enjoyable retreat, despite minor comments on cleanliness and size. Parking provides convenience and security, though some guests find the fees unexpectedly high. Nevertheless, the hotel shuttle is praised for its reliability and friendly drivers, balancing the parking experience.
Overall, the Kimpton Overland Hotel - Atlanta Airport provides a harmonious blend of location convenience, exceptional service, and a clean, stylish environment. It's an attractive choice for travelers, offering both comfort and unique amenities at reasonable value.
