GHL Hotel Sunrise is situated in a superb location with a pool area that stands out as a highlight among guests. Despite the picturesque setting, many reviewers felt it did not meet the expectations of a four-star hotel. The hotel appears to be undergoing renovations, including replacing the main lifts, but much of the property still feels old and outdated.
Common concerns raised by guests include the dated appearance of the rooms and the general cleanliness, which did not live up to the four-star standard. Many found the rooms to have a somewhat decadent look that detracted from the overall experience. Additionally, several guests mentioned that the hotel price does not match the quality provided, indicating a poor price-to-value ratio.
On a positive note, some guests appreciated the modernized pool area and found the hotel to be a good value for money considering the four-star rating. However, these positive aspects were overshadowed by the general sentiment that the hotel functions more like a business operation rather than a luxury resort. Overall, the property has potential but needs significant improvements to truly match its four-star status.

Sunset Paradise presents itself as a four-star hotel, yet several reviews suggest discrepancies between expectations and reality. Guests have noted that the breakfast lacks variety for a hotel of its claimed rating. Additionally, accommodations fall short of expectations with outdated sheets and towels, and inadequate storage facilities such as wardrobes or hangers, causing inconvenience during extended stays. The vintage style of the decor has been perceived by some as simply antiquated, detracting from the intended ambiance. Overall, the property appears to function more as a house rather than a fully-fledged hotel, raising questions about the accuracy of its star rating based on guest experiences.
