Summary of reviews related to the 'Accessible' category
Summarized by AI
Scandic Aulanko offers a mixed experience for guests with disabilities. The hotel provides accessible paths and wheelchair-friendly facilities, including a pool that can be accessed by a lift for accessible rooms. Guests appreciated the good accessibility features in some rooms, though it was noted that the hotel could benefit from additional accessible rooms, as currently, there is only one room specifically designed for people with limited mobility. The convenient bus connection to the hotel and its location near the city center in natural surroundings were also highlighted as positive aspects. However, some areas still need improvement, such as better signage and more accessible corridors. Issues with old appliances and minor repairs, as well as the less accessible room layouts due to bathtubs, were mentioned. The service at the restaurant was reported as slow and the distance from the reception to the rooms and restaurant was a challenge for some guests. Despite these drawbacks, the hotel offers a generally accessible stay for guests with disabilities, though there is room for enhancement to fully meet their needs.
