Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Super 8 by Wyndham Hanover offers a strategically convenient location that appeals to many travelers, providing easy access to shopping areas, local attractions like Gettysburg and Lincoln Speedway, and a variety of restaurants and amenities. This makes it an excellent choice for visitors looking to explore Hanover and its surroundings.
The hotel's breakfast receives a mixed reception, with some guests enjoying the fresh coffee and waffles, as well as the continental breakfast options. The inclusion of items like orange juice and bagels is appreciated, though there is a call for more variety and options for guests with specific dietary preferences.
Room experiences are generally positive, thanks to recent renovations that have modernized and refreshed the accommodations. Guests appreciate the clean and comfortable rooms, especially the comfort of the beds and the spaciousness provided. However, there are some concerns, such as occasional noise from neighbors, the presence of stains, and musty odors, which could impact the tranquil environment.
Cleanliness is a recurring issue, with numerous guests pointing out problems like stained carpets, grubby chairs, and persistent odors. Specific concerns include sticky floors, rusty bathroom fixtures, and dated furniture, which tend to detract from the overall experience.
In contrast, the staff at Super 8 by Wyndham Hanover consistently receives high praise for their friendliness and helpfulness. The warm and accommodating approach of the front desk clerks, particularly Traci, leaves a positive impression on visitors. The staff's commitment to addressing and resolving issues enhances the overall guest experience.
Overall, while the hotel benefits from a good location and friendly staff, improvements in cleanliness and breakfast variety could further elevate guest satisfaction.
