Treebo Kodai Kings Park, located just 650 meters from Kodai Lake, offers a convenient and pleasant setting for travelers visiting Kodaikanal. Its proximity to key attractions like Bryant Park and Coakers Walk and ease of access to the town center, make it an attractive choice for sightseeing. Despite some occasional traffic congestion, especially on Sundays due to a local bazaar, the area remains peaceful at night. The hotel features clean, spacious rooms and benefits from nearby restaurants, a bus stand and parking space.
Breakfast options at the hotel receive mixed reactions. On the positive side, guests enjoy the delicious variety, noting it as better than meals from nearby hotels. However, there is room for improvement as the menu often remains the same and the quality can be inconsistent with some guests pointing out issues with the cleanliness and setup of the breakfast area.
The rooms at Treebo Kodai Kings Park garner appreciation for their cleanliness, comfort and spaciousness. Bathrooms are generally tidy with consistent hot water availability and the large double beds enhance comfort. Nonetheless, some guests note the rooms can feel cramped and noise from the nearby main road could be bothersome. Cleanliness standards have also shown inconsistencies with occasional reports of unclean linen and improperly cleaned rooms.
The hotel’s cleanliness is generally well-regarded with many guests complimenting the well-maintained rooms and hygienic bathrooms. However, sporadic issues such as dirty cups and plates, foul smells and not-so-clean linen have been noted, indicating areas for improvement in maintaining consistent hygiene standards.
The staff at Treebo Kodai Kings Park consistently receive high praise for their friendliness, politeness and helpful attitude. Guests frequently commend staff members, including Mr. Abhijit, Vijay and Kanagavel, for their exceptional service and efforts to ensure a pleasant stay. The staff's welcoming nature and attentiveness significantly contribute to a positive overall experience at the hotel.
Parking at the hotel poses a challenge due to limited space and local market activities, particularly on Sundays when street vendors can block access to vehicles. This congestion, combined with police restrictions, can be frustrating for guests with their own transport, despite the hotel having a designated parking area.
In summary, Treebo Kodai Kings Park stands out for its strategic location, friendly staff and overall cleanliness, making it a value-for-money option despite some areas needing attention, such as breakfast variety, room noise and parking logistics.
