Hôtel de la Muse et du Rozier receives consistently positive reviews with its exceptional location being one of the most frequently praised aspects. Nestled in a charming little town, the hotel is uniquely positioned at the bottom of the gorges and along the picturesque Tarn River. This beautiful setting provides superb views and a tranquil atmosphere, making it an ideal base for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. Guests appreciate the hotel's serene garden design and its proximity to hiking opportunities, which enhance the overall tranquility and scenic beauty of the stay.
Breakfast at the hotel is frequently lauded as excellent and hearty with a diverse offering of fresh, regional and homemade products. Guests consistently highlight the quality and abundance of the breakfast buffet, enjoying the beautiful presentation and the chance to dine with great views from the terrace. Even when some consider the cost on the higher side, the overall sentiment remains highly positive due to the memorable start it provides each morning.
Dinner at the hotel's restaurant also receives high praise for its refined cuisine and delicious meals, which many compare favorably to top dining experiences in London. The terrace dining is noted as particularly wonderful, adding to the enjoyment. The variety of the menu and the quality of the wine further enhance the dining experience, making the in-house restaurant a standout feature despite recommendations to try nearby eateries as well.

Many rooms offer stunning views of the Tarn River, contributing to a peaceful and relaxing stay. The cleanliness and daily upkeep are commended and the dog-friendly atmosphere is a bonus for pet owners. Minor issues such as plain decor, occasional smells of cigarettes or older rooms lacking air conditioning do arise, but they do not significantly detract from the overall positive experience.

The professional and friendly staff contribute significantly to the pleasant environment. While there are occasional mentions of issues like outdated bathrooms, the overall standards are high, providing a clean and enjoyable stay.
