The Birchwood Hotel and OR Tambo Conference Centre offers a generally accessible environment for guests with disabilities. The facility is easily accessible and in close proximity to the airport, making it a convenient choice for travelers. Guests have praised the ground floor accommodations for better accessibility. Security guards are friendly and staff members are known for their helpfulness and attention to detail. However, there have been observations that some rooms may not be suitable for individuals using wheelchairs and a more robust emergency plan could be beneficial. Overall, the hotel's accessibility features are appreciated, though there is room for improvement in addressing specific needs.
